Moonrise Wellness & Birth Center has been years in the making. It started with a dream to create a birth center that was truly a place to serve the community. A place that was safe to have a baby: a sanctuary. A place that community midwives could utilize to accommodate those clients that didn't want to birth at home but also didn't want to deliver in the hospital.

In early 2019, that dream started to take shape. A building was found and construction began in June 2019. Many bumps and obstacles later, we were licensed as a birth center in April 2020! We welcomed the first baby in June 2020.
